May 27th & 28th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parents, This is our final week for our “Come to the Castle” theme. I hope your child has enjoyed it as much as we have! The world of pretend is so much fun! One thing that is emphasized during our lesson time is that we are telling true stories from the Bible. At this age, your preschooler needs your help differentiating the make-believe world from true stories. Asking your preschooler if something is real or make believe is fun, you never know what response you will get. Have fun during these teachable moments! I know many of you will be traveling over this holiday weekend. If you won’t be at church, make sure to take advantage of the Bible story and music videos on the Kids’

May 20th & 21st Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parents, Thank you for sharing your little ones with us each week. We desire to make the most of every opportunity we have to teach your child that God made them, God loves them and Jesus wants to be their best friend. Alongside you we desire to lay a strong foundation of faith in each child’s life. This week we are learning about Gideon. You can read his story in Judges 9:7-22. Gideon was headed to battle. God gave Gideon specific battle instructions unlike anything we’ve seen. Gideon had to decide if he was going to lead the Israelites according to his own logic or by following God. He chose God’s way and was victorious. As parents, we want our children to follow our instructi

May 20th & 21st Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution and SPIN Parents! We’re in week 3 of the Amazing Maze series! During this series we’ll see how determination shows up in the early church and the first followers of Jesus as they worked to accomplish the mission He had for them. In Ephesians 6:10-18, we read a portion of a letter Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus. The early church is feeling attacked from all sides, and Paul encourages them by reminding them how the Holy Spirit can help them. We have armor that stand against anything that we might face in this world. Bottom Line: God gives you what you need to keep going. We pray that through this lesson, kids will realize all they have available to them right now to h

May 13th & 14th Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution and SPIN Parents! We’re in week 2 of the Amazing Maze series! During this series we’ll see how determination shows up in the early church and the first followers of Jesus as they worked to accomplish the mission He had for them. In Acts 10, Peter was a Jewish follower of Jesus. Cornelius was a Roman commander. These two were unlikely friends even in the best of circumstances. But through a couple of visions, these two men were about to cross paths. And through this meeting, Peter discovered the mission Jesus gave the disciples was way bigger than he originally thought. Bottom Line: Keep going even when the job is bigger than you think. There are times we start a job and

May 13th & 14th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parents, Happy Mother’s Day to all our Sprouts moms! You do a great job and deserve to be recognized on this special day! You work tirelessly and some of you haven’t slept through the night for years and you share your little ones with us each week! We are thankful for you and thankful to partner with you in teaching your children about our loving Father! This week in Sprouts we will be learning about Hagar. She was a mom in the Old Testament who wasn’t treated very well, but she learned that God always cared for her. Your preschooler loves you and loves to copy the things you do…sometimes that’s a good thing and sometimes…well you know what I mean! Encourage your preschooler as
