February 3rd & 4th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent, Our theme for February is Sweet Shop! Jesus loves everyone is the sweetest news we will ever share with our preschoolers. We begin the month learning about the woman at the well. Even though she was from a different place than Jesus, He still wanted to be her friend. Our story focus is Jesus loves everyone, no matter where we’re from, and no matter how different we are from each other. Our bottom line is Jesus loves everyone. Check out the monthly Parent Cue for ways to apply the bottom line throughout your month! Our Bible memory verse is “Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12. You will find the motions for this on this webpage. Apparently, Little is the New

January 27/28 Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution & SPIN Parents, We are finishing up our series on commitment this weekend. We will be looking in Mark 12:41-44, the parable of the widow. We will be talking about what it looks like to practice living for God. Kids might think that they only practice their faith when they are at church. But when you practice living for God, you discover that whatever you do—work, play, read, sing, listen, whatever—can be a way you worship God with your life. We will also be talking about baptism this weekend and showing this great baptism video. We will be handing out our Start Here Guide for you to look over with your child. We have a baptism information meeting on Feb 3 & 4th. Look thr

January 27/28 Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent, We conclude this month with something else only Jesus can do…turn water into wine, or ‘super fancy party drink’ as it’s referred to in our Bible story video. Preschoolers don’t understand what wine is, but they know it’s a party when they have special juice boxes or punch! We will be doing an “experiment” turning water into super fancy party drink with the help of Kool-Aid. This would be something you can do at home as well. Is your child annoying? I’m not calling anyone or any kids out…truthfully if you asked my family they would tell you I’m annoying and on an honest day I would also tell my that my kids can be annoying as well…even my adult kids. 😊 And, what about so

January 20/21 Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent, As we continue with our “Watch This” theme this week we learn about the time Jesus fed over 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish. Can you imagine the look on the disciples’ faces as they watched the food keep coming and coming and coming and then as they picked up the leftovers? Our Bible verse if “With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 This is a great verse for all of us to learn and to remember when we struggle with things. When your child is struggling with something, pause and talk about how all things are possible with God and pray. Ask God to help your child with whatever it is they are struggling with. This teaches your child that God care

January 13/14 Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution & SPIN Parents, In Luke 11:1-4, we find Jesus’s disciples asking Him how to pray. Jesus responds with a prayer that serves as the perfect model for how we can talk to God. We can pray with gratitude and honesty, pray for our needs, and for forgiveness. It’s a comfort to know that we can pray knowing that God knows us and wants to hear from us. This week we will be talking with the kids about how do you pray to God? Kids are just starting to discover that they can pray more than before meals and at bedtime. We hope the kids in your environments learn that they can pray to God whenever they feel like with whatever words come to mind. God is always there to listen. Bottom L

January 13th & 14th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent, You probably hear “Watch this, Mommy or Daddy” often throughout your day. Your preschooler wants you to see each and every discovery they make. This month in Sprouts, we will be saying “Watch This” back to your preschooler. Our goal this month is to learn that Jesus is the one to watch, because Jesus can do anything! When Jesus walked on water, it was definitely a “Watch This” moment! We will learn this week that Jesus can do what is impossible. It would be fun discussion with your preschooler to ask if they can walk on water and then ask if Jesus could walk on water. Our Bible verse is “With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 Your job as a parent is a difficul

This month in Sprouts, we will be saying “Watch This” back to your preschooler. Our goal this month is to learn that Jesus is the one to watch, because Jesus can do anything!
