March 3/4 Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution & SPIN Parents, We are kicking off a basketball theme this month in the spirit of March Madness. But we are flipping it around with the theme “Finding Peace in the Madness.” Our Bible Memory Verse this month is: “So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another.” Romans 14:19 (NIRV). One way we can bring peace and build up this around us is to see a need and meet it. We have opportunities every day to help others and meet their needs. One way to give to others who are in need is to get involved in our Knock Knock Give a Sock sock drive. Socks are one of the #1 items requested by homeless shelters. Help us show our local community som

February 24/25 Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent, This is our last weekend in the Sweet Shop! We have learned that Jesus loves everyone including those who are different, those who make bad choice and those who are unloved. This week we learn about Peter’s denial of Jesus. Peter thought he would never deny Jesus and yet he did the unthinkable…and just like we can, he found forgiveness. I hope you enjoy the Parent Cue on Kids’ Time website (click here to visit). Much of what I communicate via these emails pertain to older preschoolers. Moms and Dads of infants, there is also a Parent Cue just for you. Do you ever wonder how to love your child? Skip the need for Pinterest perfection and read this short article. It can be

Dear Sprouts Parent, Our theme for February is Sweet Shop! Jesus loves everyone is the sweetest news we will ever share with our preschoolers. This week your preschooler will hear about the woman that no one else loved - you know, the on that was about to be stoned to death. And yes, Jesus loved her too! Can you imagine how that woman felt when Jesus came to her rescue? Jesus loves us when no one else does, even when we feel alone! Our bottom line is Jesus loves everyone. Check out the monthly Parent Cue for ways to apply the bottom line throughout your month! Our Bible memory verse is “Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12. February 3/4 Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution & SPIN Parents, One of the greatest joys of being a parent is the opportunity to walk your child through his or her decision to follow Christ; but we understand that this can also be one of the most daunting tasks! The questions you might ask yourself are as practical as they are unnerving. Is my child ready? Will I say the right thing? How will I know my child understands? We want to help. Join us for one of our upcoming baptism information sessions being held on Saturday, Feb 3rd at 6:45 pm or Sun, Feb 4th at 12:30 in the Remix Room. You can take a look at our Parent Conversation Guide to get the ball rolling. We start the month talking about the foundation for our kin

February 10/11 Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution & SPIN Parents, This week we learn one of Jesus’ teachings on kindness in Matthew 25:35-40. For one reason or another, people are overlooked every day—no one even notices them, much less shows kindness to them. But Jesus says that when we show kindness to one of the least of these, it’s as if we’re showing kindness to Him. We hope to discover how they can show kindness to people who are overlooked in their world. We will be talking to the kids about how they can show kindness to those who are overlooked, especially kids who they know, namely the kids with special needs in our program and at their schools. Head over to our Kids' Time Website where you can see our Bible st
