February 25th & 26th Parent Note for Remix/Revolution

Hi Remix, Revolution and SPIN Parents!

The Remix & Revolution kids (K-6th grade) will be in adult service to witness God’s gift of Baptism this weekend. We will be offering SPIN in the Remix room at the 11 o’clock service.

We finish the month in Luke 10:25-37. When Jesus told the Pharisee’s “Love your neighbor as you love yourself,” they shot back with another question. “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus went on to tell the story of the Good Samaritan. When faced with the decision to ignore an enemy or have compassion, the Samaritan chose to set aside His differences and show love. Head over to our Kids' Time website to watch the Bible Story Video together as a family.

Our Bottom Line this week is: Love others because they matter to God. We won’t always get along with everyone we meet, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t deserving of God’s love. Through this story, we pray that kids will see that all people matter to God, and we should show His love to everyone we meet. One way to show others love is to participate in our Knock Knock Give a Sock sock drive. We’ll have a display set up in the entrance way for sock collection at all three services. We are close to meeting our goal of 1,000 pairs. We hope you take this opportunity to give a small comfort that carries a big impact.

Don’t forget to check in with your child to see if they’ve memorized the Bible Memory Verse for this month:

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:10 (NLT)

You can also check out all our other weekly resources such as the kids’ devotionals, worship music and much more on our Kids' Time website.

Much Love,
