March 4th & 5th Parent Note for Sprouts

This week we begin a new series with a build it theme. We will be having fun with blocks, pool noodles, and other construction tools as we learn that Jesus wants us to love everyone. We will explore how we can do that through helping, sharing, and forgiving. This week we dive in with helping and the story of the Good Samaritan. You can read the story here. This is such a great story for preschoolers. They love to help! So, this week when you give your child ways to help, take the opportunity to talk about how the Good Samaritan helped and how Jesus wants us to help. That’s how we can show love to everyone, by helping. In our Sprouts classes we ask a question over and over again that has our Bottom Line as the answer. You can use that this week to drive home the point. Point out and praise when your child is helping and then ask, “How can you love like Jesus? I can love everyone!” For other ways to continue the learning at home practice the Bible Memory Verse, listen to the songs, watch the Bible Story video and check out additional resources under the Parent Cue. You can find all that by going to Have fun!

If you are interested in dedicating your child, we are having a Parent Child Dedication coming up on March 25. You need to sign up this week. You can do that by clicking here.

If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to tell me something cool about your child please don’t hesitate.
