August 5th & 6th Parent Note for Sprouts
Dear Sprouts Parents,
Thank you so much for sharing your preschooler with us every week! We love each one from our babies to our 5 year olds! We know God created each child in His image and with a delightful uniqueness that we love to see each week! This month in Sprouts we will explore God’s Wonderful World! We will be learning about creation in the next 4 weeks. This will not be your typical creation story going day by day, but exploring several parts of creation each week. We will start this week with land and plants.
This is a great time to check out our Parent Cue on the Kids’ Time website. You will see a few new things this month. You will be able to see the Parent Cue in monthly form so you can print it out and keep it where you can see it. There will also be a Baby and Toddler Parent Cue – that will give you some ideas to start with your littlest ones. It is never too early to start talking about God during your day. I actually found it easier to start with my babies because they didn’t know what I was really saying or if I got something wrong, but it gave me a comfort talking about God and because part of the fabric of our lives.
Creation is a great topic for discussion with your kids. In August we are still outside as much as we can be and there are so many things to see that God made…ask your child when you take a walk…they will be sure to show you every. Single. Bug. On the path. Can you relate?
God created us to be part of community and we are so thankful for our parents! It is our desire to partner with you in raising your children to know God. It’s why in our curriculum we strive for each child to know that God made them, God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We can’t do what we do each weekend without our volunteers. I’d like to ask two things of you. First, would you take a moment when you pick up your child and say thank you to the volunteer at the door? Please let them know how much you appreciate them. Second, would you consider joining us? We are always in need of volunteers and will make sure you find the right area for you and train you. I can guarantee it takes a little work, but the rewards are great!
If you ever have any questions, concerns or prayer requests, please don’t hesitate to email me.
Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
