August 26th & 27th Parent Note for Remix/Revolution
We are jumping into a new series this weekend all about friendship. It’s called Lunchroom – make space at the table. We are also getting back into grade level small groups this week. Along with hearing the bible story message in large group they will also have time to discuss the message in a small group setting.
We start the month with something Jesus said in John:
I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you, (John 13:34 NIrV).
Along with that, we’ll take a look at one of the most famous friendships in the entire Bible: David and Jonathan. These guys went through a lot together. From making a promise to help each other and escaping the dangers of Jonathan’s own father, King Saul. They showed us exactly what it meant for friends to love each other.
Bottom Line: Friends love one another. Loving our friends often means putting aside what we want to give our friends what they need. We pray that kids will learn how they can show love to their friends in every day situations at home and school.
Head over to our Kids' Time Website to check out the bible story video, worship songs, weekly devotional, parent cue and much more!
Join us for our Kids’ Time Baptism Meeting after the 5:30 pm and 11 am service. We want to help equip you as a parent to be your child’s spiritual leader. We will have a short presentation followed by a Q&A time. Click here to checkout a great new resource we created just for you as you talk with your kids about salvation and baptism.
See you this weekend!
