October 28th & 29th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent,

This is our last week in the zig zag zone learning about the life of David and how even when it zigged and zagged, God was there to help him. We end the month learning how David praised God after He helped him. David danced and played music to show thanks to God for all His help.

Our story focus is we can praise God because He helps us. When God helps us, we want to say, “Thank You!” Preschoolers will learn that they can dance and sing and play music to thank god for helping them.

Got a one year old or closing in on one? Here is a great article to appreciate the uniqueness of being one! Click here to read.

I read a great quote on the Parent Cue app. It said, “Don’t underestimate what serving inside the church, in your community and even globally can do for your son or daughter.” I have found this to be true in my kids. When I invest my time in their activities including church, school and sports, they realize the value each of those activities has in their lives. Are you serving somewhere in your child’s life? We have so many needs at New Hope for parents to serve. It could be in guest services, hospitality and especially where the kids are in Kids’ Time. Imagine the impact of your kids seeing you prepare to serve. I would love to serve alongside you! If you are interested in getting started, please respond to this email or email Jessica.woodcock@newhope.org.
