December 9th & 10th Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent,

Special Delivery! The Christmas story is one many of us have heard every year of our life. We know it very well, but for our preschoolers, this may be the first time they hear this special story! If we are careful to remember this, we may see the wonder in the kid’s eyes are we talk about the angels, shepherds, Mary and Joseph.

This week we learn about Mary and Joseph’s journey and that baby Jesus is born.

Our Bible verse this month is Isaiah 9:6, “God has given a Son to us.”

Our Coat Drive continues this week. If you have any extra gently used coats, please bring them in. So far, we have collected over 200 coats and they have already been placed and are being worn already. I knew the need was great, but hearing that the coats are already placed and being worn brought this need to a whole new level.

In case you didn’t see this article last week, I’ve added it again. Last week I mentioned a time when my boys were little, trying to do it all. I have to tell you, I still struggle with all the things I want to do when I need to focus on the things that matter…the true meaning of Christmas. How do you keep Christ in Christmas? I’d love to hear!

I hope to see you over the weekend!
