April 21/22 Parent Note for Sprouts

Dear Sprouts Parent,

This week we learn that no matter how hard it is, we can tell others about Jesus, the BIG NEWS! Our story focus is “I can tell others about Jesus even when it’s Hard.” While we may never have it as rough as Paul and Silas had it. There will be times that it’s hard to tell others about Jesus. We want our preschoolers to know that God is with them in every circumstance, including telling others about His Son.

If you have attended the 11 am service, you may have noticed how quickly our 4/5-year-old classroom has been filling. This happens every year in the spring right before we promote rising Kindergarteners. Please know that the curriculum/activities we do are identical in the 3-year-old class as the 4/5 class.

Are you ready for 2018 Food Fight? May 4, 5 & 6, 2018 at the Dulles Expo Center. Click here for all the details and how you can be involved. Kids 5-years old and up can help pack meals. There will be NO WEEKEND SERVICES during Food Fight.

Are you looking for a way to be more involved at New Hope? Volunteering is one of the best ways to become involved. We are in need of volunteers throughout Kids’ Time (birth-5th grade) especially with the summer coming up. Can you invest a few hours a month in our children? We invite you to shadow a classroom and will give you all the training you need to be successful. The best way to connect is by emailing Jessica @ Jessica.woodcock@newhope.org. She will get you plugged into the schedule. We have a great team and want you to become a part of it!

Please be sure to check out the Parent Cue…I’d love to hear how it works in your home!

Love,

Sherry
