November 17/18 Parent Note for Sprouts
Hi Sprouts Parent,
How is your Happy Helper search going? I’d love to hear about the helpers you have experienced so far this month! This week look for modern day “Good Samaritans,” our police, fire fighters and first responders, to name a few. When you hear the siren for a first responder, consider praying with your child for the person in need and thank God for those who help us.
So, Band-Aids...does your child love or hate them? If they love them, they will be excited about our Band-Aid activity this weekend. I found a hilarious article about preschoolers’ love of Band-Aids! There are a couple questionable words, but I just had to share. Click here for the article and enjoy!
I love the simplicity of the suggestion for drive time from the Toddler Parent Cue. As you drive, take turns with your child naming people you are thankful for. See if you can keep going until you reach your destination. I used to play a similar game with my daughter and she loved it! It is great to remind our kids how many people we have to be thankful for! Click here to see the entire Parent Cue or go to nhckidstime.com to see all that’s going on this week in Sprouts.
I’m thankful for you, our Sprouts Parents! I love connecting with you, hearing what works for you and what challenges you are facing. Another way to connect is through our Parents of New Hope Facebook page. Are you in our group? If not, Click here to join. We have some exciting things coming in December and I don’t want you to miss it!
